The Art Institute Online

  You'll study textiles, historic and contemporary styles, space planning, kitchen and bath planning, drafting and computer-aided design. Credits earned in this program are fully transferable to the Interior Design Bachelors Program at The Art Institute Online.

• Bachelor of Science in Interior Design
  So you have chosen Interior Design - a career on a great growth path all over this country. Part art, part science, Interior Design goes far beyond decorating. Interior designers have a profound impact on people's lives by creating the surroundings in which they live, work and play.
  
  In the Interior Design Program, you'll study computer-aided drafting and design, 3-D design, space planning, problem-solving, and the history of design and architecture. Course work also covers specialty design, including exhibit design, hospitality design, retail store design and corporate design. In addition, you'll learn how to communicate your design solutions through a variety of visual media.
